For the past 47 years, the Jeux de Montréal have offered our young people their very first experience of competitive sport.
Once again this year, the main venue for the event will be the emblematic Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard.
Montréal is a city of sports through and through. To keep it that way, we want our young people to keep moving. That’s what our sports and leisure facilities are there for!
The Jeux de Montréal also contribute to building a healthy city and population. They inspire our young people by encouraging them to pursue physical activity, and introduce them to a range of sports, including several new disciplines this year: scootering, climbing and adapted athletics.
I’d like to thank the partners, volunteers and parents who make this event such a success, year after year.
To the young athletes from all over Montréal, I wish you lots of fun! We’re already so proud of you.
Have a great time!
