Sport presentation
A target sport requiring a great deal of concentration in which competitors use bows to propel arrows towards the centre of a target. Historically, archery was used for hunting and in battle; in the modern day, however, it is mostly practised as a sport. Individuals who practise archery are called archers. The archer with the best score wins the competition.
Sport Association
The Association régionale de tir à l’arc de Montréal (ARTAM) promotes, supports, and continues the tradition of practising archery in Montreal. The ARTAM manages the only outdoor archery range on the island of Montreal.
Schedule
The 44th edition will be virtual, find out more about the Passe-Sports challenges.
