Sport presentation

A modern combat sport and traditional martial art practised in a dojo. Practitioners are called judokas and wear a reinforced cotton uniform called a judogi. Judokas practise judo barefoot on tatami mats that absorb impacts and whose different colours outline a square combat zone. The aim is to throw or take opponents down to the floor, to pin them or to force them to submit using strangulations or locks.
