For several years now, the Montreal Games have been taking concrete actions to reduce its environmental impact.
This year, our transition is accelerating thanks to a collaboration with RECYC-QUÉBEC and new ecoresponsible actions!
Participants, families, volunteers and all stakeholders of the Montreal Games are invited to be involved and aware of the ecoresponsible aspects of the event.
GREEN ACTIONS
Here are the actions to adopt during the Montreal Games:
Get information from the Green Squad to learn how to take concrete eco-responsible actions.
Bring your own reusable water bottle: water fountains are available at all competition sites, and say “no thanks” when offered a straw.
Use reusable packaging to bring a snack or lunch: cloth snack bags, utensils like the ones you use at home, washable and reusable containers, etc.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness by picking up your garbage and food scraps.
Encourage more use of public transportation and carpooling to get to the various Jeux de Montréal venues.
