TEAM LEADER – SPORTS AND LOGISTICS

Assists the organizing committee in the coordination of competition venues. Ensures that competitions run smoothly. Also ensures certain handling on sites.

Profile sought: available, experience in volunteer management, resourceful and autonomous, valid driver’s license and comfortable to move between several competition sites.

COMPETITION SITE MANAGER

Ensures the proper management of its competition site. Responds and assists the athlete when needed. Coordinates volunteers on site.

Profile sought: Experience in volunteer management, resourceful and autonomous, solution-oriented.

TRANSPORT OF EQUIPMENT AND LOGISTICAL ASSISTANCE

Help with material handling to the different competition sites. Prepares boxes of small materials to be distributed to the sites. Assists in setting up and dismantling the event.

Profile sought: Versatile, resourceful and autonomous, driving license an asset

PARKING ATTENDANT – CLOSING PARTY

Manages the return trips of cars in front of the Claude-Robillard sports complex. As the street is closed, you must be able to manage certain exceptions that can enter and park in front of the complex.

Profile sought: Directive and courteous.

TEAM LEADER – FAN ZONE

Ensures the coordination of the fan zone as a whole. Welcomes partners and meets their different needs, coordinates the team of volunteers on site, ensures the assembly and disassembly of the fan zone within the required time, ensures the quality and safety of activities.

Profile sought: Available, experience in volunteer management and events, resourceful, autonomous, diplomat, oriented towards finding solutions.

CLOSING PARTY MANAGER

Assists the participating experience manager during the closing party. Coordinates suppliers and volunteers, manages the travel of delegations, coordinates logistics, ensures the assembly and disassembly within the required time, ensures the quality and safety of the ceremony.

Profile sought: Effective, resourceful, directive, interpersonal, good stress management, diplomat, solution-oriented.  Experience in event management an asset.

CEREMONIAL OFFICER

Hosts and directs the movement of crowd delegations, contributes to the distribution of snacks, sports banners and draw coupons and assists in the parade of athletes. Ensures the safety of children.

Profile sought: Effective, resourceful, directional, interpersonal. Experience in animation.

ANIMATION OF ACTIVITIES

Hosts an activity in the fan zone and/or during the closing party. Welcomes children warmly, explains the operation of the activity, animates young people and ensures their safety. Assist with assembly and disassembly as required.

Profile sought: Interpersonal, experience in animation and with children, extroverted and smiling.

WELCOMING PARTICIPANTS AND THE PUBLIC

Warmly welcomes, guides and answers questions from participants and spectators of the Montreal Games. Explains the programming. Is an important source of information on one of the sites of the Montreal Games.

Profile sought: Interpersonal, customer service experience, welcoming, diplomatic, easy to find solutions and missing information.

MASCOT GUIDE

Accompanies and guides the mascot of the Montreal Games in his travels.

Profile sought: Patient, directive, customer service experience, interpersonal skills, valid driver’s license.

STORE MANAGER

Sale of promotional items for the Montreal Games

Profile sought: Interpersonal, customer service and sales experience, welcoming, proactive, responsible.

PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

Welcomes the ambassadors and supports them during their visit to the Montreal Games.

Profile sought: resourceful, good communicator, welcoming and smiling.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Animates the social networks of the Montreal Games.

Profile sought: Creative, comfortable with Instagram and Facebook, impeccable written French, experience animation of social networks an asset.

TEAM LEADER – VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT

Assists the volunteer leader in coordinating the volunteer team. Training assistance, interview assistance if available in February, March and April. Coordinates the Volunteer Lounge and assists with the management of volunteer teams on site during the event.

COORDINATOR – VOLUNTEER FAIR

Help in coordinating the volunteer lounge, welcoming volunteers, distributing meals, and can replace an absent volunteer.
